Bull City Alphas support Martin Luther King, Jr. Day in Durham
The nation celebrated our beloved Brother, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. on January 19, 2015. This is always a celebratory event for the men of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., especially the Bull City Alphas. Many Brothers started out their day attending the 35th Annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Triangle Interfaith Prayer Breakfast, where the Keynote Speaker was Dr. James H. Johnson. Later on that morning, the Bull City Alphas participated in the Unity March and Rally, which began at the NC Mutual Life Insurance Company through downtown Durham and ending at First Presbyterian Church. The evening ended with Brothers attending the Annual Religious Service held at Peace Missionary Baptist Church. Members of Beta Theta Lambda acted as ushers for the event. The keynote speaker was Bishop George W. Brooks, Pastor Emeritus at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Greensboro, NC.
