New Years Eve Gala

The Beta Theta Lambda Chapter of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated has hosted its annual New Year’s Eve celebration for a number of years.  Each year the formal event celebration has allowed attendees to enjoy delicious food, drinks, and various forms of entertainment.  This year DJ EZ-Hutch will provide the music, a variety of old school and current hits that will be sure to keep everyone on the dance floor.  The event begins promptly at 8pm and lasts until 1:30am.  Former scholarship recipients have attended schools such as Hampton University, the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, North Carolina Agricultural & Technical State University, and North Carolina State University.  The New Year’s Eve Gala is also an event that looks to help the community.  Each year a portion of the proceeds have gone to scholarships for local high school students looking to further their education.  The Beta Theta Educational Foundation, Inc. a 501(c)(3) organization is sponsoring the event, so tickets are tax deductible.
