Greetings Brothers, Friends, and Supporters,
It is my distinct honor to welcome you to the digital home of the Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., Beta Theta Lambda Chapter, affectionately known as the “Bull City Alphas.” Since our chartering on May 7, 1938, our chapter has served Durham and Orange Counties with a fierce, unwavering commitment to uplifting downtrodden humanity and advocating for the marginalized. Beyond our local impact, Beta Theta Lambda boasts a storied legacy of service to Alpha at every level, serving as the home to numerous Chief Deans, Area Directors, District Directors, and National Committee Chairs.
While Beta Theta Lambda currently stands as the third largest chapter in North Carolina, we refuse to rest on our laurels. The challenges ahead require even more Brothers to bring their unique talents, vibrant energy, and innovative ideas to the table. We are leading the charge in an ongoing battle for progress, and developing leaders remains at the very heart of our mission. I am deeply invested in forging pathways for Brothers to grow; regardless of your age, skills, or ambitions, I assure you there is a place for you in this chapter where we will help you reach your highest potential.
To my Alpha Brothers who are visiting or seeking a new fraternal home, I strongly encourage you to join us in our mission. To our community partners and those eager to learn more about the work of Alpha Phi Alpha, I invite you to engage with us as we pursue this vital work together.
